Rudi Garcia is now coach of French club Olympique de Marseille.
The struggling Ligue 1 club appointed Garcia on a three- year contract and he will take the reins for the first time in Sunday’s match against rivals Paris Saint-Germain.
The 52 year old who was fired by Italian Serie A club AS Roma last season will replace interim coach Franck Passi.
The changes take place just three days after American business man Frank Mc Court completed his take over of the club.
Mc court expressed confidence in the French man who will be expected to turn the fortunes of the club currently placed 12th in French league standings;
